Opgericht in 1955 als ‘The Linc-Tones’ Neil Seidaka begon in deze band. Nadat hij de hit had ‘Oh! Carol’ hij de band verlaten had. Tekst en Muziekschrijver alleen of samen met Carole King, ze kende elkaar van de Highschool, Neil gebruikte haar naam. Carole Klein was haar eigen naam, later schreef haar toenmalige echtgenoot Gerry Coffin een bekende songwirter tot zijn reactie Oh, Neil, L’ve lovet You for so long. I never Dreamed you ‘d put mi in A song’ is uitgebracht werd nooit een hít.King en Coffin hit scoorden met gezamenlijk geschreven nummers als ‘Take Good Care Of May Baby’ en The Loco-Notion’ later gecoverd door Kyli Minock .

Love it when these ladies each take a turn as lead singer. Well sung!
Great singing, the video didn't really need to be switching to different sets during the song and the extreme close-ups not needed either. It's too much a hard sell of the pretty faces and that's not what this should be about. The staging format used for the cover of "He's So Fine" is perfect for this group: nothing fancy, just straightforward and true with each singer having a moment in the lead. I loved that cover but have been disappointed with all the other videos as I hoped for more of the same. Entertained here but disappointed,
